Each year, The Reno Generator opens its doors for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at large-scale art installations before they journey to Black Rock City.

Playa Art Preview is your chance to experience these monumental works up close, meet the artists behind them, and be part of one of the most exciting moments of the year.

WHAT THIS EVENT IS

For a few short months each year, our 70,000-square-foot makerspace becomes a hub for ambitious, large-scale art projects created by local and international artists alike.

Playa Art Preview is your chance to step inside that process.

You’ll experience these monumental works up close, hear directly from the artists, and witness the creativity, engineering, and collaboration that bring these projects to life.
