Programs at The Reno Generator
The Reno Generator offers hands-on creative, educational, and skill-building programs for makers, artists, and families throughout Northern Nevada. In addition to providing our own tool safety training, equipment check-off classes, workshops, and youth programs, we also encourage members of our community to share their knowledge and experience by teaching classes through The Generator.
This community-driven approach greatly expands the diversity of learning opportunities available while creating new ways for local makers, artists, and educators to support themselves through teaching and mentorship.

Workshops & Skill-Based Learning
The Reno Generator offers hands-on workshops focused on creative exploration, technical skills, tool safety, and fabrication training. Some workshops are offered regularly, while others are hosted by members of our community based on interest, availability, and emerging creative projects.

Youth & Family Programs
Our youth and family programs are designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through accessible maker-centered experiences. These programs help introduce young makers and families to art, fabrication, technology, and collaborative creative thinking.
