Generate! The Zine was started in February 2021 as a way to connect Reno/Sparks artists during Covid-19 quarantine. The first edition of the zine was specifically made for the 2021 Reno Punk Rock Flea Market. We had such a great time collaborating and making art together in this platform that we decided to make it a quarterly thing. Thus far there have four editions of the Zine!

More information about the zine project: Each quarter we do a call for art and all are welcome to submit their work. Our program assistant and zine editor Ray Frost compiles all of the offerings into the zine and then we translate it into Spanish so it’s a bilingual zine. We print locally at Sindex and then host a free zine release party at various locations around Reno/Sparks.

We usually have 40ish artists contribute from all over the world.

This project is supported by a grant from the City of Reno Arts and Culture Commission.

This edition of the zine was themed around Magic The zine was created in November 2021 and compiled and printed in December 2021.
